International Shipping

We always ship through the post office. Fedex and UPS charge international buyers excessive brokerage fees. The post office may charge you an 'import tax' or 'customs charge.' If your country is part of the European Union (EU) it may be known as the Value Added Tax (VAT). The post office will collect that money when they deliver the package to you.

Our website is automatically set up to charge you for $5.00 (USD) shipping. If your shipping fee is more than $5.00 (refer to shipping rates below) please contact us before ordering. sales@deepspacecables.com.

We accept credit cards through the online payment service Paypal.. You CAN use a credit card WITHOUT signing up for paypal. To do so,

  2. Adjust the quantity
  3. Click the "checkout with paypal" button
    You will NOT be signing up for paypal
  4. At the bottom you will see the text:
    "Don't have a PayPal account?"
    "Use your credit card or bank account (where available)."
    Click on the CONTINUE button below the text
  5. Enter your information and complete the sale
  6. Paypal will NOT send you a newsletter or other spam
We cannot process credit cards via email or over the phone. You may also pay though the mail with cash, a money order, a cashiers check, or a check.

Refunds & Exchanges

You may return any item for a refund. We charge a 30% restocking fee on opened items and a 15% restocking fee on unopened items. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. You will be responsible for return shipping fees. If you have not opened the package you can mark it 'return to sender' and the post office will return it to us free of charge

If you exchange an item we will waive the restocking fee.

Exchanges/refunds must be made within 30 days. Please email us at sales@deepspacecables.com before making any return.

The best way to contact us is by email - sales@deepspacecables.com. We usually respond within 1 or 2 business days.

When emailing please include as much information as possible. Including model numbers, video card names, which connectors (13W3 / HD15 / BNC) are on each piece of hardware, complete names (SparcStation or Ultra Sparc instead of Sparc), etc will help us assist you more quickly.

About our Company


Deep Space Cables was created in 1999. We're located in Hampton, TN (NE Tennessee). We have an outlet store in the Maxia galaxy that caters to non-humanoids.

We sell video cables (13W3 / HD15 / BNC) for SUN, SGI, IBM, DELL, Hitachi, Cornerstone, and other workstation and monitor manufacturers. We may add additional inventory in the future but at this time we only sell video cables.

Our initial product line was limited to a few monitors and cables. Since then we've been adding many cables and adapters to our inventory. Our video cable line has grown to almost completely encompass all SUN and SGI hardware. We also carry cables and adapters for many other manufactures.
